I`ve collected my share of nasty hard to rid malware recent months but I`ve stumbled upon a helpful way to give pups the finger

Simply remove internet explorer via programs and features. :D

Having no browser temporarily really makes it a lot easier to kill those active hijacking related dll files.

Once you've removed the IE feature from windows. Run malwarebytes and let it purge the OS.

Then run Ccleaner and clean the registry.

This method seems to make it half the battle its become of recent.

Just putting my findings out there... happy gutter surfing. :D

And remember Stay Calm and CTRL & F4 :salute:

I`m finding a slight gain by this method because it totally removes associations between pups and the program they exploit.

Ccleaner then sees them as un-associated dll`s

plus you can wade into program files (x86) and change the security options and manual delete any offending dll`s because there not active without the host program.

It`s worth a try if your on the verge of a reinstall
