I have heard some people say that the MB fan headers do not supply good voltage to operate the pump on an H110 hence why the pump can become noisy.

I was wondering if any of you think I should just use a 3/4 pin molex adapter to power the pump instead of using the MB pins.

OPinions?

I'm always leary of pulling too much power from the MB. Doing so can cause other components to become wonky IMHO. While I'll connect some fans to the MB, I also like to off-load some of the power draw directly from the power supply. Just my opinion based on nothing more than my own brain.

MB CPU header should be fine since they were designed to do so and be within spec.
