I decided to clean out the dust in my amplifier. Turns out there wasn't much at all , but I figured some audio porn might brighten up the evening for those who like this stuff.

The dollar bill is for scale. The EI transformer weighs about 12 pounds , and the whole amp is just under 30 lbs. The black heatsinks are 6" long and about 5" tall. As I usually run it in Class A those heat sinks get a workout.

Quite a difference from the modern digital designs that easily do 300W/channel with rather tiny heatsinks.

True ! But when I get to the price range of a Class D amplifier that I find acceptable , there is a wide range of Class A and A/B amps I much prefer. When the above amp was introduced it was widely regarded as competitive with most amps costing three times as much , which still wasn't as much as a decent Class D. It isn't quite a giant killer , but it is a giant shin kicker. LOL
