Pulling aux power from GPU line

I have an EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 PSU and I'm wondering if it matters where I actually pull 12v out from the PSU. I'm trying to avoid doing chains or splits in my rig for aesthetics. I'm not going to be using all 6 of my VGA outputs. Can I just tap into one of those for a 12v device? I'm assuming so since it's a single rail.
