Chosing of a video card.

Ok, heres the deal, i have 120 bucks. i need an AGP 8x card.

i saw http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814130036

but my local microcenter said they could give me a x1300 for the same price.


what about the fact that a 6600 GT is around the same price? im confused here lol.

which is the best way to go?

I know this isn't an option for you at the moment, but once you do hit 100 posts, you can find some steals in the classifieds. But for the time being the 6600gt is a nice card. I got one for my brother.

yea, i currently have a 6600 GT in my computer. but what about the 7600 GS, how does it compare?

Honestly, i think you're going to need to spend more than that if you're getting a new card to notice a difference over your current card. The least i would get is a 7600GT. The gs has much lower clocks, but you can oc it to make up for some of the difference.
