I'd like to see what you would do on PC Parts Picker if money was no object.

I would change the mobo to ASUS X79 Black Edition, Corsair 900D, full water-cooling, and 2560x1600 monitors.

It would be over $9,000!!!

Why not a i7 4960X? or Dual Xeons? Can you SLI four GTX 780TIs?

4k monitors?

It should be nearing $20,000 lol

If money was no object you'd be spending more on some areas than you did. Would definitely be doing 2560x1440 monitors if not 1600 30 inch dells (4k?) And you'd be spending way more on a sound solution. The Logitech set is frankly crap compared to a decent set of stereo monitors that cost around that price range.

Like someone said, if money was no object, I'd be looking closer to 20k for this build. Custom loop, not some pre filled thing, the Asus BE board. As well as a much better case... Let's face it, the HAF case is ugly and impractical these days IMO... When the 900D stomps over it. Or even the 750D. The HAF doesn't even have dust filters. And the water cooling support is limited.

I'd also be buying retail windows instead of OEM. And cooler master wouldn't be my first choice of keyboard either...

Etc Etc.

I was just going off what PC Part Maker had, and at least taking some considerations for performance with the 2560x1080 monitors. I would vastly prefer a Velodyne sub with B&W 802D speakers but those aren't on that site.

If money was *really* unlimited (very wishful thinking...), I would get as many rack servers as would fit, Fold on all of them, and hire a team of techs to keep everything running smoothly. For a workstation/console, I would take a few of the servers and convert them into workstations by adding video cards and plug in some 4K big screen TVs.

For a somewhat more realistic situation (e.g. a $20,000 budget), I'll go with a rack server with some added video cards and 3-4 1080p displays.
