I came across a link to this in another forum. I don't know if this is a farce or for real, but it sure is interesting.

I think its legit. I didn't read the whole article you linked, but I did see another source with very similar looking documents.

Including a system similar to the x-box kinect sounds very interesting. And facial recognition is awesome if it works well. Imagine being able to just walk up to your computer and it logs you in automatically. Although I wonder how that would handle holding a picture of your face in front of it?

Actually this is interesting news, because if they release it in 2012 (or up to 2014) that is still within the support expiration of Windows XP SP3 (SP2 support expired recently).
