Can I do this?

I have an 80 gig drive (WD800JB) that I have partioned into 3 partions. C: 36 gigs, D: 18 gigs (storage), and E: 18 gigs.

I want to put Linux on E:

Now here's my question - how do I configure my computer to ask me whether I want win98se or Linux? Can I download some program to do this for me?

Most distros will automatically find Windows and put an entry for it in the bootloader.

Yes, most distros like SuSE or mandrake, don't expect any lilo autorecognition in Debian or any other serious distro
