well i've been looking at the refurbed abit BD7's at newegg....
Since i'm new to intel (currently running an XP and a Duron) Could you guys lemme know what you think of this board? for $33 I could pick up a $180 2 ghz P4 and reuse my current XP machine's components. anyways, this only takes socket 478 P4's....If memory serves me correctly aren't there 2 P4 sockets: 423 and 478?
I seem to remember that one of these sockets is being phased out....I just want to make sure that if I buy this board i'm not buying the one that' s gonna be gone in a couple months. Anyways, any feedback/opinions on the BD7 as a starter Intel Mobo would be appreciated--Thanks.
