P4I Fire dragon bios update fix overclocking?

They have a new bios update ver2 and on my board i can go upto 2.4 ghz by increasing voltage for stability (my chip is a 2.0A) but at 2.4ghz it doesn't boot i get "bios checksum error" no matter how many volts i pump through it....do you guys think the new bios will fix this??? The board on ver1 only supprots chips to 2.2ghz that maybe why at 2.4ghz I get checksum error???
