I just took out my northbridge heatsink from my motherboard (stock one) just to clean it a bit, when it struck me. Wouldn't it be practical to put some arctic silver 3 on there before putting it back? theoretically i'd be lowering the temperature a bit more wouldnt i?

be careful not to get any as3 any where else. I read horror stories of people getting them on the little legs and the board not working anymore

alrite then =P just making sure... there wasn't even a thermal pad on there :-/ probably assumed it doesn't get hot enuf to melt it maybe?
