Hey everyone, just wondering if someone could give me some advice on cleaning my cpu. I took a sticker off that the vendor had on it and it left all this sticky crud on it... It's not on the core, but right by it. I used some rubbing alcohol to get it mostly off, but some is still on there. Some is right by the cache too, so I'm afraid to rub on it too hard. Should I bother with it or am I just being anal? thanks.

Since it's not on the core, I wouldn't worry with it.

Welcome to the forums.

You should dry some of the dishwashing liquid stuff. Worked great for me, especially when cleaning off arctic silver.

Follow it up with some alchohol and you should be set.

Since it's not on the core itself and won't affect the performance or temp of the cpu, I'd say to just leave it alone.

BTW, WELCOME TO THE FORUM!!!
