Hi all, i have XP Pro and i was just wondering if it was possible to get rid of the system idle process? It is always running and taking up spare cpu time..i know it is supposed to give up the cpu time to other programs when needed but it doesnt always do it correctly..anyways..is there a way you can just get rid of it? Or is it needed for windows to operate properly? Thanks in advance! :)

Edit: WAIT! NO! STOP!

I have a solution!

Check out either the SETI@Home or Folding@Home forums. They'll have a "fix" for you. :)
