well It's time to build a linux box for school, so i can use it in conjunction with my java class.

I've got a burner, a dvd drive, 320 mb of SDRAM, a pci gf2mx400,
a 6 bg HD, a case, and PSU.

so basically I need a mobo and cpu.

I found all these refurbed at newegg for under $45....I would couple this w/ an XP 1600.

Which board do you guys recommend? I may try to sell the SDRAM for cash to buy some DDR....but The only board i'm familiar with here is the k7s5a...which i've heard doesn't have the greatest OC'ing options out there. here's what's available for cheap:

ASUS A7M266 motherboard AMD 761 chipset,

EPOX EP-8KHAL VIA Apollo KT266A (VT8366A)

EPOX EPOX EP-8KHA+ VIA Apollo KT266A (VT8366A)

EPOX EPOX EP-8K7A+, with RAID,

ECS ECS K7VZA Rev 3.0 KT133A Chipset Motherboard

ECS ECS Socket A K7S5A SiS® 735 chipset
