40.72 nvidia drivers any good? What's new this time?

Has anyone found any performance increases from these new drivers? I just downloaded them and was wondering if I should expect anything from them.

My 3DMark score went up 1000. No weird errors yet.

i have corruption on most of the menus, but 3d performace is fine.

btw, what is that performance slider supposed to do? it doesnt seem to have much of an effect

What about everyone's refresh rate? I can't even get the desktop to go above 75 @ 1024x768. It used to do 120 @ 1024x768, and thats just regular windows, not games. I'm using refresh fix utilities but have yet to find one that fixes both game and desktop refresh rates. This ****es me off that people with P.O.S. monitors have kept the rest of us held back, cause they(microsoft) don't want to fry the typical consumers crappy monitor. Anyone know of a refresh fix tool that corrects this problem w/ 40.72 drivers?
