Got a few questions about big hard drives

Hey all. I just got 160 GB hard drive for chirstmas and now am wandering what to do with it! If anyone knows neat stuff I can do with lots of storage let me know

Also, does RAID need to have the exact same type, and size of hard drives to work right? I think it does, but just want to make sure.

1. install all the programs you have
2. download tons of warez
3. download tons of porn
4. download everything you find on the net

Dont worry, it will fill up fast enough

As for your Raid question. My setup is using a 40 gig Maxtor ATA133 2mb cache drive and a 40 gig WD ATA100 8mb cache drive and its working ok. If you use 2 mismatched drives then the array size will only be double your smallest drives capacity and will run only as fast as the slowest drive.

It's a good idea to put all your CDs on the hard drive, no cd swapping anymore

check programs such as virtual drive, alchohol 120% etc

lol, I know. I thought I would never run out of space when I got my 40 gig, but now that I have already experianced how fast hard drive space is taken up I know this one will be full too soon. Hopefully not too soon though
