I have an Asus A7N266-E mobo and I'm trying to overclock it and see what i can do with it before i try to unlock the processor.
I was just wondering how changing the RAM voltage(DDR) would affect performance and how much good quality RAM can help overclokcing attempts.
Also, What does increasing the processor Vcore have to do with stability or overclocking?
What is the goal of unlocking? I know you can change the multiplier, but i read that you should lower it for stability, but then how can you overclock it if the multiplier is really low?
I'm pretty new at the whole overclocking thing so any help is really appreciated. Thanks in advance.
