My friend is a real ***. He likes to borrow my laptop without permission and go through my history. He did it again yesterday and found some very private stuff, so now I want to get him back for it. What are some good pranks I could pull to get him back? He has a laptop running Win2k that I could probably gain access to.

If you can log on as admin, create yourself an admin account, and then remove all the priveledges off of his account. You have to remove the priveledges rather than delete the account, 'cause you can't delete the default admin account.

Basically, drop him to the level of Guest. Guests can't do anything.

If he uses an external mouse, put cellotape over the ball/optical thingy
Also you can download programs that can simulate the BSOD

BTW You can also get rid of the start menu if you want to be really mean

Install NetBus on his computer, and set it to run by default on startup(not for virus purposes;D). It used to be a virus, but is now commercially marketed, and I'm pretty sure you can download a free version. So if runs an antivirus, it may pick it up. Anyway, it'll allow you, over the internet, to eject his CD Drive, prevent keys from working, shut down windows, restart the computer, and some functions like VNC.

I wanted to do it to my little brother, :D , but the Norton AV picked it up, and wouldn't let it run.

Mods, forgive me if i've said too much.:D

This reminds me of this pranking software that I used to have around.

can be set to randomly open and close the CD Tray, create false BSODs, lock the mouse into a tiny area of the desktop, create false casading GFPE's, literally hundreds in a row.

It was funny as hell when I set them all on, My mother thought your computer was posessed! :D:D:D:D:D

God I wish I could find it again..

instal a Mac theme, or invert the screen?
either way be sure he has the smarts to figure it out and laugh afterwards

Go into his hosts file and make entries for all his favorite sites. Redirect them all to porn sites or something ;) For users that may not be familiar with what a hosts file is they will go INSANE (heh I speak from experience since I have done this to coworkers before)

Just install Gator at MAX screw system up... hehe

If it was me I wuld delete windows without backing up and say next time he snoops u'll break his fingers with his laptop. :D

how dumb is he?

google search for windows RG (really good edtion :D )
Its a flash program that looks like the windows desktop- but it does hilarious stuff when you click on anything like "system.dll not found, so windows has deleted it"

Not quite that dumb. Actually, he was the one that showed me Windows RG. It is funny though :D .

I was thinking of recalibrating his mouse, or using that one character that works in DOS but not in windows. Does anyone know how that one works?

if you can adjust the screen size and position on an LCD you can move th etool bar ll the way over to a side and minimize it to the max, take a pic of his desktop and set it, hide the icons, and if you can find something like tweak XP for 2K i think you can disable the right click on the desktop... lol that would be fun:D

dunk it into a pool of water then turn it on.

Have it so when he opens programs it plays a really dumb song, like YMCA or somthing.

buy a 32mb stick of SODIMM and replace whatever he has in there in the first place. :)
