somebody please!!! make me buy good ddr ram

the question becomes where is money best spent??? if i buy samsung ddr2700 because it's cheap..did i just screw up my next upgrade? if i spend alot now .say 200 bucks,,.what does it look like when i go to upgrade when the new intel stuff comes out? will it look like 2700 does today?And the obvious dumb question will it even work?...... i read crucials web site and it says basicly junk in junk out...it also says not too may people make ram, which makes one think this ought to be easier than it is to pick what to buy!!!....samsung makes a lot of memory is this junk or is someone taking their memory..the good stuff ,,and reselling it?............ samsung 3200 for 80 bucks or corsiar or the equivilent for 180??? and ...why???
