On air it was like this using an SLK800:

I think the 12.5x max multiplier :cry:is limiting the OC, meanwhile this baby cooled by a Prometeia Is doing this: :

Very nice I'am guessing 8rda say the same thing on another forum.

very nice, is that on the epox or the abit????

Thanks ;) It's now on the 8RDA+ as my NF7s 1.2 can only do 210MHz FSB with 1.90VDD

I don't know if this will work for you, but I had a Xp 1700 last month and cutting the 3rd and 5th L3 bridges, allowed me to use all multipliers from 5-24.

unfortunatly, mine was a older Xp 1700 and only got 2.6 ghz.
I am not sure it would work on your CPU, but it also worked on my XP 2500 barton.

it is $600 everywhere unless you find it on ebay or a forum for cheaper

it is worth it is you are serious about overclocking everything to the max..... it is a good investment if you can get the dough because you can take every single chip much much much further than air and water can

Incredible... Im hoping for 2400mhz on my coming SLK800 on a 2100 AIUHB 0301. Maybe I should have gotten the 1700...

I think that has to be the limit on that chip. Even in a Prommie that looks to be a little bit of a unbelievable OC..

Thanks guys :)

Thanks for that tip man ;) That’s good news, I should give it a try, as I'm sure that what’s limiting this Overclocking is the multiplier and the mobo. Epox voltages even using an Enermax 465 moded, fluctuate a lot compared with the Abit, i.e. Vcore varies 0.1v!!!! On the Abit, max 0.06 using my Tbred 2100+@2700MHz 2.05V.

seems about right :)

I had a few 1700+ lying around which will do 2400-ish with a poor air cooler ... I got up to 2830 in my prom, but FSB is indeed getting high at those speeds.
