GA-7VAXP and IRQ5

Has anyone (not using onboard sound) been able to utilise IRQ 5?

I got myself a PVR250 PCI TV card and it needs an IRQ of it's own but no matter what i try it keeps doubling up on another IRQ yet 5 remains unused??????

I remember seeing something for IRQ5 in BIOS...have you tried reassigning that one?

it didnt help and as I'm not using the onboard sound it's disabled anyway

My IRQ5 is in use my the MPU-401 Compatible MIDI Device. I'm on the the F11 Bios w/ same rev. as yours.
