device problem hard drive

I keep getting the following errors:

An error was detected on device \Device\Harddisk3\D during a paging
operation

and

The device.\Device\Scsi|ultra1. did not respond within the timeout period.

I have 3 harddrives: Is it saying that harddisk 3 is bad? Or is it
saying the one I labled as D is bad? They are different drives, my drive that says disk 3 in diskmanager is the one I call Z:backup also the one I call D as disk 2 in disk manager.

Is there a fix to this problem
