Planning to upgrade cpu cooling and some mushkim pc3500 memory to see if I can push socre higher. Maybe a video card mod to replace the stock Radeon HSF.

That's not entirely true. AMD and Intel are too different chipsets.......My AMD 2100XP gets around 4900 or something so I dont think it's a good comparison.
