Please help me I can't figure this out!

I'm looking to buy a card that will be able to run Doom III and Half Life 2 (when and if they ever come out)
In CND $,
9500PRO 245
9600PRO 255
Ti4800SE 235

My system is
Abit NF7-S
512 pc3200 DDR
XP 1700 DLT3C @ 2.2ghz
and a bunch of other ****

SO with that, what card performs the best?
Do you have any pages that benchmark the three?

here is a benchmark for 3dmark 2001se
Here it says that the Ti's outperform the 9500pro..and the 9600PRO isn't even on the list....

Please help me in any way you can!

thats without FSAA or af at low res. when you crank up the resolution, or use the eye candy such as FSAa, the ati's kill the ti's dead.

here's a good example:

my modded 9500 (for all intents and purpouses, it IS a 9700). with no FSAA or AF, the ti4200 is actually right on par with my r9700 . But with them on, my card is over 90% faster.

you can bet that with the eye candy on, the 9500pro/9600pro are a good 40-50% faster than the ti4800se. They really are that much faster, and games like doom3 and HL 2 will make great use of that extra power.

the only choice left is the 9500pro or 9600pro. the 9600pro is faster at stock speeds, but when both are overclocked they are pretty much equal or the 9500pro is faster.

Id get whichever is cheaper or, if noise is a big issue for you, get the 9600pro - its apparently a little quieter.

yeah I'll look into overclocking them and stuff...

What I don't get is how the 9500pro could be better than the 9600pro....
in anyway....
oh well, the 9500pro is like 5 bucks more than the other, is this cause it's discontinued???

the 9500 pro has a 128bit memory-interface and 8 pipelines
the 9600 pro has a 128bit memory interface but only 4 pipelines.

Thats why it's clocked insainly higher than the 9500 pro but still performs the same.

Ati are phazing the 9500pro's out, yes. if you cant find one cheaper, then get the 9600pro.

I second the 9500 Pro since its a bit cheaper and you don't have to worry about getting a card that doesn't overclock well to give a high level of performance.
