Or to put it another way, does the extra surface area allow better cooling? I'm wanting more than my 2400+ gives me, I want the extra cache speed and do they overclock any better? My 2400+ goes 2500mhz on water and 2.1v, can a barton 2500+ do the same or better?

most ppl can only get 2.2ghz with air

i dont know about water tho it properly around the same as u have got your 2400+

i think they produce more heat im not 100% sure on that one tho

2.3 on good air but 2.4 is possible but it took me 1.95 volts so I turned it back down to 2.3. I'll have it on water by the end of the week, I'll update on speeds then.
