ok well this is kinda hard to explain

but ok well basicaly

but ok well anyway

the question at the end is, what grit sandpaper should i use to sand my desktop/mousing dealio to make it the best surface for a intellimouse explorer 3.0?

im thiking 400 or 600 grit maybe but i dunno should it be smaller?

A regular mouse pad works fine for me. I'm using the Microsoft Notebook Optical. Also if you sand your desktop, you have a risk of the "sawdust" getting into the eye of the mouse.

no, id just blow all the sanded **** off

but the reason im asking this is

i make my own mousepad, and i use construction paper for the surface but it wears out like every 2 weeks

so i need to sand it down

I just a whole desk sized plastic cover, its heavy and has good friction to keep it in place and is easy to clean, but I'm not sure if there is a certain word for the item. My MX700 works perfectly.
