Battlefield 1942 Ctd"s

crash to decktops btw

i jsut installed xp pro then i installed bf 1942///desert combat and when i try to enter either of them it brings up teh bf logo goes to a black screen (as it usually did when it loaded it) then makes an error sound and goes to desktop!!! no message comes up either

hey, it actually goes into the game now (durr... stupid me forgot to download some new ved drivers) BUT now it just randomly freezes in teh menus

my diablo is doing the same thing
