9700p or most other high-end "pros" for that matter, same cpu/mem speed ?

My 9700p (ver 1.0) stock sits at 324/310 cpu/mem speed..

Lately, I've been running it up to 350/350 without problems but was wondering the following...

Is it better to run the mem and cpu and syncronous or the same speeds ????

Or better to have 1 higher then the other?

by running them in sync you'll probably limit the core speed as the ram usually tops out first. most cores will overclock to the upper 370Mhz range with decent cooling where that ram (assuming samsung 2.86ns) usually hits a wall around 350Mhz (without voltmods).

The performance does not hinge on syncrounous timing of the core and memory clocks.

Feel free to run the core a bit higher than the memory, you'll gain some performance....
