Hey man..
my 750Mhz duron now run at 1000Mhz... (at last after few headache) stable..

Now how anybody can lower the temp with MSI-K7T Turbo
under 45C.

mine originaly has 65C.
i only can lowering to 54C
by ... guess what ...
benched the temp sensor
not to touch the CPU.
But the system very stable..
burn-in with sandra 2001

i set core voltage 1,85; in bios
it say 1,98V
(i think close to 2 V, without
voltage mod.)

Cme on turbo men give me
your opinion...!! and your
experiment...

Read this and download the software they mention.

Well that was the wrong site for the cooling hack, but the principal is the same. This site will teach you on how to play with it. But you need to change hex 52 so that it reads EB. This will cool your CPU about 5-10c. I did a step-by-step on this forum a couple days ago, I will try to find it and post it again.

ok i will try it.......

btw how do you read yours (you said 39C)

i read from Alert III and BIOS ..and MBM5
with the mobo probe touch (67C)
with the mobo probe untouch (56C)

you read with external temp sensor or
thermometer like senfu..??

I use PC Alert 3, I have tested it with a very accurate 3rd party probe and it never swayed 1-c +/- from actual. I am happy with this software.

i see... so do u sugested to read the temp from
pc alert III with the mobo probe touch the CPU like originally came....???????

it's weird because i heard that turbo has the highest temp reading between others because of their probe system aren't the same....

the reason i ask to every one here is actually how much Celcius i must compensate to make my temp reading more accurate....?
and then i prepared to make experiment with others cheap HSF..

in here is to hard to get a good thermometer to test real temp..
