Just curious

A few months back I bought two Retail 2800 throughbed's with the 333fsb...With the coming of the Bartons...They have just been sitting around collecting dust...Now that they are locking after 0339 to whatever...I cut one open and checked the manufacturers date...AQXEA0320VPAW...Are these good processor's or should I turn them loose???

They'll do pretty much similar to unlocked 2500+ Bartons made around week 20.

You know how it goes... they all do 2.3 or so, then your cooling and the brand of your power supply influence how far in the area of 2.4 they all do.

Bartons do not have magic markings like DLT3C xxxB (not A) Thorougbred B which instead of 2.3 does 2.4 and then cooling and power supply brand take it toward 2.5 albeit with 1/2 Barton cache...
