My location broke the tables, oops!
ok, i just bought a new abit ic7g-max II from newegg and when the board got here with the new P4 2.8c...i quickly assembeled the beast only to find out now (five days later) that the mobo is badly warped from the tension of the stock intel hsf...i have never experienced this problem before (despite the fact that this is only my 3rd intel setup)....is this common with the tension the stock hsf pouts on the mobo?....never experienced it with my AMD machines

Keep the mobo -> case screws on tight and it won't warp ;) Seriously though, the boards are made for that tension, as that pressure is specified by Intel to the mobo manufacturers.
