I'm running a SyncMaster 753df from a few years back. It's a CRT. Lately, it's been doing two things which are surprisingly annoying, considering how small they are.
A)Scan lines. These show up about 4-5 times a day for no more than 5 minutes at a time.
B)"Flexing." It's as though the horizontal and vertical width settings are being changed on their own. The image sort of bounces to the left and right by a few pixels, and when it's all said and done, I have to readjust all my settings. This is happening more and more, almost all the time now.
Is it dying? Is it possible that my power isn't grounded properly?

hrm, its hard to say. have you tried a different outlet? Its possible that the power supply in the monitor is starting to provide fluctuations in current.
