Think i can run a albatron 4200P without the whiny proprietary not under warranty fan that is on it at stock speeds?
 
Don't think so; those things get pretty damn hot. Maybe if you used some huge heatsink... but don't even try it with the stock one.
 
ok, anyone disagree? Thats what i thought, was just hoping someone would say that its fine cuz they have really freaking big hs on them already. The fan is crapping out, and is proprietary (has three screws, wtf?) and out of warranty. guess ill get the zalman fanless cooler (takes up extra pci slot)
