Build me a system!

Hey guys,
I got a bit of money to burn and my machine feels really out of date now.

My budget is £700 (GBP)

The system I am looking to beat is this:

I need a whole Base unit like this, can anyone find me a better deal than this? Seperates or pre built. UK only please!
I don't need monitor, keyboard, mouse, modem or speakers.
Also remember I need windows xp!

sorry, but my hardware pricing knowledge is all in US dollars (and I don't know where I'd order computer parts in Europe)...

offhand, checking out the system though, I might be wary that they don't list how fast the ram is...

in fact, i'd be wary buying a system from ANYONE, when I can build one myself for cheaper any day ...

make some computer geek friends that can help you build a compy for some take-out or something that's how i got started !

Yeah your right about the vague details of the components and I don't like the graphics card either. But I have browsed through various online sites like ebuyer and I can't build a machine of this spec for anywhere near the same price. I don't know how you can build a machine cheaper?

I live in the U.K and i think that i might be able to help you. First is it just the base unit you want or do you want keyboard and mouse ect? A gf3 ti500 will own that card. You may not be able to get a cpu that good, but the cpu that they are giving you may be fast but it is let down by the grpahics card, thus meaning that is you wanted a slower cpu but a better Graphics card you would get much better performance.

I want it to be able to record tv pictures, burn onto DVD and tv out.
Also it will be used for games.

I just need the base unit. Thats it.
