i am running win2k
mobo is the iwill kk266-r
i enabled it in the bios, but when i run sandra, it still says its at 2x

i used powerstrip to try enable 4x, but it wont let me...

i also added a file from andy c's site for 4x in win2k, but it still is at 2x...

can anyone help?

I have the same problem. The gains from 2-4X aren't great enough for me to bother quite yet... but I don't think overclocking allows me to raise mine to 4X.

I'll let you know if I find something.

I started a new thread...oops

Must be my new Noobi status since they went to this new forum, I get to be a noob again so starting a new thread complies with my new noobi status

Apparently this is a common problem, assuming your bios is set to 4x and you have tried reinstalling your Via 4in1 drivers and you are still a 'no go' try installing Nvmax, this worked for me when mysteriosly it reverted back to 2x
