Ive just won a Supermicro P6DBE on ebay and have been reading through the manual, and am a little puzzled by the memory configuration it says it supports 8mb to 512mb ram sdram and 8mb to 1gb for registered ram

Do you know if this is per bank or in total?

So is its max 1GB of ram or a max of 4gb of ram saying I used 1gb registered stick in each bank

Ive searched around and cant seem to find a strait answer i dunno if its cause it’s gone 1am and im not reading properly or what but anyway can u give us a hand.

i plan on using two 1ghz slot1's at 100fsb if i can find them anywhere cause thats the max the bored supports and have looked at overclocking it and the highest fsb in teh bios u can set is 112 so with any luck it could hit 1120mhz per cpu and wouldnt be a bad machine
