Reading movies on cds

My cdrom is driving me nuts when watching a movie of cd. It makes that bad sound, is there any way I could swap bigger bits of the movie to the ram, so the noise will go away, this is not dvd movies, I dont want to copy the movies to hard drive.

I have heard of registry tweaks that will cache more cd data and that would probably help you. I know they exist so keep looking.
