Would running a memory divider of 200/166 hinder the performance of a Athlon64 opposed to running 1:1? I'm just wondering if I'm better off running my system as far as it will go 1:1 or as far as it can go with the divider. My memory max's out at 230 MHz before errors and my HTT can easily hit 270 and possibly higher with better cooling. So which is better HTT/Memory: 230/230 or 270/221?

System:
Athlon64 2800+
Epox 8kdaj
1x512 ddr3200 cosairs value ram
MSI Radeon 9800 pro

No, not at all.

Athlon64's derive their memory clocks off the CPU clock. There are actually CPU/memory dividers. By setting to 166, you are using the CPU/10 divider. There's no HTT/memory ratio.

is there any way to run the mem at 233 but the proc at 200?
