Hercules GS FIII

Hello !

after installing DX9.0c my sound card doesnt work anymore! i have tried different drivers but it doesent help! windoes says that unsupported modified Crystal soundcard!

same thing happened with me, I just picked up an audigy 2 zs instead. Pissed me off though cause at first I didn't realize why my sound stopped for no reason but you mentioning dx9.0c makes sense. That was about the same time I installed SP2 when my sound went out.

It also sucks that Hercules isn't making any more drivers for the card so I noticed on some games I was having stuttering sounds every so often as well. It worked well for years for an inexpensive card but now it's almost past its usefullness.
