Monitor problems?

I just got a new monitor today, and noticed the left is slightly blurry, while the right is pixellated a bit, any ideas what to do?

Edit: It's a CRT- Samsung SyncMAster 1100DF

what happens when you try a lower resolution? Do you still get the same blurriness?

what is its max resolution and its native resolution
also, i have had that effect when i had a lcd plugged into a vga connection.

has it been exposed to any magnetic things?
