Here's the specs on a computer my little brother and sister are going to get for X-mas from my parents. I'd love to be able to build one for both of them but coughing up money is just hard sometimes.

What's a good pci-16 video card for around 150-200 dollars preferably from newegg ?

I'm going to start looking at benchmarks tonight and try and have an answer for my father tomorrow morning.

Thanx!!

edit: The computer comes with 512 dual channel ddr, not 256 as shown.

What do you use this for? You can get an ATI X600 Pro from Newegg for well under $150....

If they don't play games, onboard video or a cheap ATI X300 128MB (newegg around $50) will work....

My little sister probably won't need one sorry.

But my brother plays every game out. Currently playing WoW with me, Doom 3, whatever. So looking for something nice for him.

thanx.

think im gonna lean towards the 6600gt. budget is around 150 to 200.

Looks like a really nice card for pretty cheap.
