alot of thema re 64MB too, i feel that's too little for today's game
I know for a fact that LE or SE edition sux, i'm just looking at regular edition, the price seems to be around 50 + shipping, i'm not sure if that's right. That's all, how many different flavor of the TI4200 can we have?

i found a 128MB one for around 70, good deal?

the listing is this
ATI RADEON VIDEO CARD 9500 64MB DVI TV 64 mb Brand NEW
70 plus shipping though.

the Gainward Golden Sample series is quite blisteringly quick. If you can find one of these cards, they are your best choice. Abit also produced an excellent series of GF4 cards, with great cooling design.

However there are definitly others more qualified to make these suggestions than myself.

did someone mention ti4200? im the expert but lately I hardly mention that since 9700s have dipped to around $100, they arent that expensive anymore and also tons of 9500s and 9800se on ebay, some potentionally softmoddable. $70 for a 64mb 9500np is too much, for that you should be looking at a 128mb one then it might mod to 9500np or 9700(if L shape ram) ti4200s are good for a limited budget and if you dont care for dx9 or 1600x1200 except in older games. My ti4200 is a bit sluggish in 1600x1200 in farcry which is a game from last year, like 20fps average with high details and were talking like 330/700 clocks too. I see most people run 1024x768. There not bad cards for the $50 they cost now, cheaper than any 9600pro too

cool, we got some one here that have experienced with this. so do you think that i should go with a used card or new? it's ebay and i'm kindda scare of the people up there :). I'll play games in 1280 X 1204 because that's my LCD's native resolution (yeah i know, LCD sux for games, but mine has 16ms, so i don't think it's that bad). I do however like DX9 (just some future proof :) and i'm thinking of getting a 9500 to softmod, i guess i should be looking @ new ones huh?

with that slow cpu of yours your gonna be cpu limited :( I guess your best bet is a 9500np, theres one guy selling a bunch of 64mb ones but he wants $16 for shipping which is nuts. Theres one dude with a 9500pro for $85.
