Long story short,

1. I show friend what parts to buy for system that I will build for him for free
2. I accidentally showed him socket 754 mobo, 939 cpu
3. check in his RMA refund queue, says mobo and cpu == not refundable
4. Call newegg, tell them of the mistake
5. Newegg waives restocking fee, sends new mobo out expedited overnight

I didn't even have to wave the fact that I always buy tons of stuff from them in thier face. Really was awesome of them, I expected at least a LITTLE bit more trouble with the entire process, even from the egg.
