I went out on a hunch and bought the game. Very similar to Generals, but enough variety to make it worth buying even if you already have generals. The mission design is top notch and is really the key feature. Even if this was a direct clone of another rts, it'd still be good cause the level desgins are so great.

My only complaint is that they use live action fmv's which are unneccesarily long, and the acting is horrible. Now in rts games, the acting usually is bad, but you can always laugjh it off in stuff like C&C. In Act of War its sort of hard to cause this game has a somewhat realistic and serious premise.

Its a very good game overall.
