Thanks in advance,

Thanks for your help :)

I've got minimal processes/services running as it is and a couple of those already. Thing is, i'd feel that'd be more of tweaking to get those extra few marks out - from comparing my results to others, im HALF what similar systems are scoring, surely there is something not set up properly with my oc?

Yeah I saw that you had a 9800 Pro...I don't get it. I used to get 15000 with my Barton and Ti4200. Are you sure that your oc is stable? If not, that can result in errors, maybe not enough to crash to desktop but just lower your score. In what order did you do your install (ie OS-->DX9-->chipset drivers-->ect)? Boy, I don't get it. What are your individual framerates in each test? Maybe that'll point us in the right direction...

Key thing to remember on 01...it is a all around system benchmark...There could be so many bootlenecks hurting your 01 score...especially memory settings/timings...

If you really want to see what the GPU will do...then run 03/05...these are GPU intense...

heres what a fully tweaked system can do with a non modded 9800 Pro

OK, after reformatting and benching it one by one, having my Chaintech AV-710 soundcard (uses VIA Envy HT-P chipset) enabled, causes my scores to half. So no question switched to the onboard, thankfully the ALC850 sounds amazing compared to the the ****ty 650.

Anyway, i'm now getting artifacting. Never oc'ed the gfx card. AGP locked at 66mhz, fast writes disabled, loosened ram timings, swapped power cables to the gfx card, tried whole setup at stock, still have problems...any suggestions would be greatly appreciated?

Your AGP lock might not be functioning.

Mine flakes above about 220MHz or so, but using a divider works.

if u have a MSI K8N Neo2 motherboard u need to set the lock on to 67 otherwise your PCI locks arent working also make sure u havent got V.Sync on in the video card drivers :)
