I was wondering if it was safe to place my cpu tempature sensor between the pins on the cpu? I would like an accurate reading on my front display but i'm not sure if this is a good idea. It's a 478 socket and my specs are in my sig. Thanks for any suggestions.

If you modded the socket so the wires could fit through it and the processor could sit flat I don;t think it would be a problem. Maybe try to keep it away from data pins though?
