All is ok linksys helped me with key so thanks for the help,laptops are cool itr's
great being able to go and use this where i want.This Sony is really something
model vgn-a290 i just hope i treat it like my guitar gentle and all will be well lol

ummmm smokes i found out something writing to ou my y has to be touched harder to work darn, i hope this don't mean i have to bring this back. I love this laptop i have been up two nights late playing with it lol.

carefully try poping the key off with a pocket knife or your finger nail and then reseating it, plastic springy thing might be too stiff, or in the case of a key sticking, not stiff enough. Flex it a tiny bit and be sure it moves smoothly.
