6800 PCI-E $100 more?

I was browsing through Newegg when I saw a XFX 6800nu AGP for $200! Woah! I paid that much for my 6600GT! But then, after searching, every 6800nu PCI-E was at least $300. Now why is PCI-E so expensive? Does it perform that much better?

A side question, is the 6800nu AGP better than the 6600GT AGP?

6800 wins, but not by a whole lot. However, you have a good chance of being able to softmod the 6800 into a 6800gt.

The pci-e version is more expensive because it has twice the ram.
