Need HELP with surround sound

The mobo has an spdif out (coaxial). It's the yellow port just under the pink parallel port. Thats a digital audio output that will give you surround sound if your mobo has some compression (ie dolby digital, dts) The speaker system has a coaxial input on the back of that little box. I have no idea what to call it. The only box that isn't a speaker :p You'll need to buy a coaxial cable:

A tad expensive, but I wouldn't skimp on the cable. Using that, you can get surround sound. I don't know if you need drivers or what not. I'm not sure if windows even detects my mobo's spdif. I suggest buying a coaxial cable, connecting them, and seeing if it works. That's definitely the first step. Good luck!
