Hi, I have this system coming in a few days:
A64 1.2v Mobile 3000 (Does 2.8ghz on 1.55v)
DFI LP UT
1gb Corsair
7200rpm 8mb buffer SATA HD (from Dell Dimension 3000)
Asus v9999 6800GT
Antec 400watt 23amp power supply
48x24x16 CDRW
16x DVD
Standard ATX Case
It is a really nice system that cost me less than $400 reusing my optical drives and case/power supply)
I usually use Windows 2000 Pro on my systems. I am wondering if I should keep that or use XP64 trial. I have Windows Xp Home too, but it is in use on my current system. I could have changed if necessary. Do you think I should stick with Windows 2000 Pro?
It seems I can never get a good clean install of everything. I download the drivers and then I see a USB or Audo driver not working. Can somebody tell me the order to install the drivers and updates? Also, can you link to them? The Nforce driver pack didn't work on my Audio last time.
Any help is appreciated.
